How It Works
STEP 1: PREP YOUR SKIN
Proper preparation ensures an even, natural finish.
1. Remove all products from your skin.
2. Your skin must be free of moisturiser, deodorant, makeup, perfume, sunscreen, or oils.
3. Use the baby wipes provided, or shower if needed.
4. Ensure skin is completely dry before continuing.
5. Cover your hair.
6. Use the hair net provided.
7. Position it just above your hairline and tuck it securely behind your ears to prevent tan lines across the forehead.
8. Apply barrier cream.
9. Barrier cream protects dry areas from over-absorbing solution.
10. Apply sticky feet.
11. Place the sticky feet on the bottoms of your feet before entering the booth.
- Apply one generous pump to your palms.
- Rub into palms, between fingers, and over the tops of hands up to wrists
- Use remaining cream on elbows and knees.
- Apply one extra pump to the tops offeet, between toes, and up to ankles.
10. Apply sticky feet.
11. Place the sticky feet on the bottoms of your feet before entering the booth.
STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR TAN
1. Review the tan chart displayed in the room.
2. Select your preferred shade and note the corresponding tan number (e.g. Caramel Latte Medium = #4)
3. Familiarise yourself with the recommended booth poses shown. This will help you feel confident
once the session begins.
STEP 3: ACTIVATE THE BOOTH
1. Open the Tan Nation App and press "Scan".
- Scan the QR code on the wall or
- Swipe your key fob on the black reader
2. Wait for the blue box to activate and the numbers to reset to zero.
3. Use the up arrow to enter your tan number, then press START.
STEP 4: THE TANNING SESSION
1. Enter the spray booth.
2. Press the flashing green button to begin.
3. Follow the voice instructions and pose prompts throughout the session.
4. Remain still when instructed for best coverage. Your spray tan will be complete in just a few minutes.
Position one
Stand with toes on markers, feet shoulder-width apart, arms slightly back with hands in a claw or relaxed open position, chest puffed, eyes closed, and look straight ahead or slightly up.
postion two (Right side)
Pivot feet, keeping heels in place, and turn body to the right. Bend the right arm up, palm facing out, left arm down, or both arms wide, with knees slightly bent.
Position three (left side)
Repeat the side pose on the left, mirroring the arm positions from Position 2.
postion four
Turn to face the back, stand on heel markers
(or toes on back markers), bend knees slightly, and place hands at sides with palms facing down or slightly away to tan the back and underarms.
